2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its servers

  • Introduce viruses, malware or any harmful technology

  • Copy, reproduce or distribute content without permission

  • Use the website in any way that causes harm or restricts others from using it

We reserve the right to update or modify any part of the website at any time.

3. Quotes and Proposals

Any quotation or proposal we provide:

  • Is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise

  • May change if the scope of work or site conditions change

  • Is based on the information you provide during the survey

A quotation does not create a binding contract. A contract is formed only when you accept the quote in writing and we confirm acceptance.

4. Site Surveys

Our free site surveys are carried out to assess your needs and recommend suitable systems.
During the survey:

  • We rely on the information you give us

  • We may need access to all relevant areas of the property

  • You must inform us of any structural, electrical or safety issues

Surveys are non-invasive. If further investigative work is required (for example, cable tracing), we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

5. Installation and Works

When we carry out installation or servicing:

  • We will agree a date and estimated timescale with you

  • Our engineers will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill

  • You must provide safe access to the site

  • If third-party contractors (builders, electricians, IT installers) are involved, their work is your responsibility

We are not liable for delays caused by external factors such as weather, supply issues, or contractor delays, but we will always keep you informed.

6. System Ownership and Responsibility

Once installed and paid for:

  • All equipment becomes your property

  • You are responsible for your own system security (passwords, access codes etc.)

  • You must ensure the system is serviced in line with recommendations if required by insurers or regulatory bodies

If we provide monitoring, keyholding, or remote access services, this will be covered by a separate agreement.

7. Servicing, Maintenance and Call-Outs

We offer ongoing maintenance for systems we have installed.
Maintenance visits and call-outs:

  • Are chargeable unless covered by a service agreement

  • May include travel charges depending on location

  • Require safe access to equipment

  • May require temporary system downtime which we will advise you of

  • Must be booked in advance except in emergency situations

If you decline recommended maintenance, we cannot guarantee system performance.

8. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins

  • Full payment is due within 14 days of invoice

  • Late payments may incur charges in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act

We reserve the right to suspend services (including monitoring or call-outs) if invoices remain unpaid.

9. Warranties

Most products we install include a manufacturer's warranty, typically 12–36 months depending on the equipment.

Our workmanship warranty covers:

  • Faults due to installation issues within 12 months of completion

It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, vandalism, or external contractors

  • Wear and tear

  • Environmental damage (flooding, lightning etc.)

  • Faults caused by lack of maintenance

Any extended warranties or monitoring agreements will be detailed separately.

10. Access, Safety and Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe access to your property

  • Working electrical supply

  • That our engineers can carry out their work safely

We reserve the right to refuse work if we judge a site to be unsafe.

You must inform us immediately if:

  • You change locks, gates or access codes

  • Your contact details or keyholder details change

  • There are issues that may affect system performance

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or indirect losses

  • We are not liable for failures caused by your internet provider, power supply issues, or third-party equipment not installed by us

  • Our total liability under any contract is limited to the value of that contract

Security systems reduce risk but cannot guarantee prevention of crime. We are not liable for losses arising from break-ins, vandalism or fire.

12. Cancellation

By you:

You may cancel an installation before work begins. Costs may apply if:

  • Equipment has already been ordered

  • Engineers have been booked

  • A survey revealed issues requiring pre-work preparation

By us:

We may cancel or postpone work if:

  • The site is unsafe

  • You fail to provide required access

  • External factors prevent installation

  • Invoices remain unpaid

We will always notify you as soon as possible.

13. Website Content

The content on our website is for general information only.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but:

  • Information may change without notice
